United States Fourth Circuit
Alvarez v. Lynch, 15-1599
In a petition for review of a Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) decision finding him ineligible for cancellation of removal, the petition is denied where petitioner's Virginia forgery conviction is an aggravated felony under the INA because it is a categorical match with the federal generic definition of forgery, thus, the state and federal forgery crimes necessarily relate to one another.
