Raynor v. Pugh, 14-7746

In a 42 U.S.C. section 1983 action, brought by an inmate at Virginia's Sussex II State prison alleging that defendant officials violated his Eighth Amendment rights by failing to protect him from an attack by another inmate, the district court's grant of summary judgment to defendants is vacated where there are genuine issues of material fact relating to plaintiff's claim.
