United States Fourth Circuit
Grayson v. Anderson, 14-1991
In a fraud action arising from a Ponzi scheme, involving fraudulent loans secured by publicly traded stock, the district court’s grant of defendant Vision International’s motion to dismiss of personal jurisdiction and judgment as a matter of law to specified defendants is affirmed where: 1) the district court properly addressed defendant Vision International’s F.R. Civ. Pro Rule 12(b)(2) motion; and 2) South Carolina law does not recognize a cause of action for aiding and abetting common law fraud.
