US ex rel. Beauchamp v. Academi Training Ctr. LLC, 15-1148
In a False Claims Act case concerning government contracts for security services in Iraq and Afghanistan, the district court’s dismissal under the public-disclosure bar, 31 U.S.C. section 3730(e)(4), is reversed where a magazine article published more than a year after the Relators first pled the alleged fraud, but before the amended complaint, did not deprive the district court of jurisdiction.
