United States Fourth Circuit

US v. Robinson, 14-4902

Conviction for being a felon in possession of a firearm is reversed where the police lacked reasonable suspicion to believe that defendant was ‘dangerous’ under Terry v. Ohio, 392 U.S. 1 (1968), after receiving an anonymous tip that he had loaded a handgun in a 711 parking lot and concealed it in his pants’ pocket because West Virginia law permits the concealed carry of firearms.
