United States Fourth Circuit
Grueninger v. Director, Va. Dep't of Corr., 14-7072
In a habeas corpus action, the district court's dismissal of the petition is reversed in part where petitioner's trial counsel's failure to file a motion to suppress a confession obtained when police interrogated petitioner three days after he invoked his Miranda rights was ineffective assistance of counsel, and the state court's contrary decision was objectively unreasonable under 28 U.S.C. section 2254(d)
