Trustees of the Plumbers v. Plumbing Services, Inc., 13-2403
In an ERISA action brought by a Fund alleging defendant owed "withdrawal liability" pursuant to 29 U.S.C. section 1381, the district court's grant of summary judgment to plaintiffs is affirmed where: 1) the district court had personal and subject matter jurisdiction; 2) venue was proper in Virginia, and 3) defendant bound itself to make contributions to the Fund.
