Johnson v. Ponton, 13-7824

Dismissal of petitioner's habeas petition challenging his sentence of life imprisonment without parole is affirmed, where Miller v. Alabama, which held that imposing mandatory life imprisonment without the possibility of parole for juvenile homicide offenders (without individualized consideration of their status as juveniles) violates the Eighth Amendment, is not retroactively applicable to cases on collateral review.
