United States Fourth Circuit

US v. Moore, 13-4446

Conviction of defendant for possession of a firearm "in furtherance of" a crime of drug trafficking, 18 U.S.C. section 924(c), is affirmed, where: 1) defendant's Fourth Amendment claim is waived, as the motion to suppress should have been raised prior to trial; and 2) there is ample evidence to support finding a nexus between the drug trafficking and defendant's possession of firearms under section 924(c).
