United States Fourth Circuit

US v. Jones, 12-7675

The district court's denial of defendant's motion challenging his sentence for federal cocaine trafficking charges, which was enhanced by, among other things, two prior Florida state court convictions that were later vacated, is affirmed, where defendant cannot avoid, through the equitable power of a court, the 1-year limitation period fixed by Congress in 28 U.S.C. section 2255(f)(4).
