United States Fourth Circuit

US v. Hassan, 12-4061

Defendants' convictions of multiple offenses arising from terrorism activities are affirmed, where the district court: 1) did not err in its First Amendment analysis; 2) did not abuse its discretion in ruling on various evidentiary issues; 3) properly denied defendants' motions for judgments of acquittal as the trial evidence was legally sufficient to sustain their convictions; and 4) did not abuse its discretion in sentencing the defendants.
