United States Fourth Circuit

US v. Perez-Perez, 12-4935

Defendant's sentence for unlawfully entering or remaining in the United States, which included an enhancement for a prior felony conviction for "crime of violence," is affirmed, where a conviction for taking indecent liberties with a minor qualifies categorically as sexual abuse of a minor and is therefore a crime of violence within the meaning of the reentry Sentencing Guidelines and its Commentary.
