McAfee v. Boczar, 12-2481

Judgment of damages plus attorney's fees against defendant-deputy, an animal control officer, in an action in which plaintiff alleged that defendant arrested her without probable cause, is: 1) affirmed in part, where defendant is not entitled to qualified immunity for her actions; 2) affirmed in part, as to the verdict of damages totaling $2,943.60; but 3) vacated in part and remanded, as to the attorney's fee award which is reduced from $322,340.50 to $100,000.00.
