United States Fourth Circuit
Lin v. Holder, 12-2302
A petition for review of the dismissal of petitioner's appeal from an order finding that petitioner was not eligible for asylum, withholding of removal, or deferral of removal under the Convention Against Torture, is denied, where: 1) substantial evidence supports the agency's adverse credibility determination; 2) the agency properly reviewed the record and determined that petitioner failed to provide independent evidence demonstrating past persecution; and 3) petitioner's due process rights were not violated.
