United States Fourth Circuit
US v. Crawford, 12-4531
Defendant's sentence for distributing crack cocaine is affirmed, where: 1) the district court did not err in relying on witnesses' information, although hearsay, to determine defendant's drug quantity for sentencing purposes; 2) the Confrontation Clause does not apply at sentencing hearings, so the use of multiple hearsay did not violate Crawford's Sixth Amendment rights; and therefore, 3) defendant's sentence was not unreasonable.
