United States Fourth Circuit

E.D. v. Pfizer, Inc., 12-2188

In a products liability and negligence suit brought by 19 families against pharmaceutical companies, alleging the antidepressant drug Zoloft caused birth defects, the appeal is dismissed and the District Court's remand order for lack of jurisdiction is affirmed where Congress has sharply proscribed the Court's ability to review a district court's remand order and none of the exceptions to this prohibition are present here.
