United States Fourth Circuit
US v. Hager, 08-4
Defendant's conviction and capital sentence for intentionally killing the victim while engaged in a drug trafficking conspiracy is affirmed, where: 1) the government presented sufficient evidence on which a reasonable jury could convict defendant; 2) there was no error in the instructions to the jury; and 3) the district court did not abuse its discretion when it empaneled an anonymous jury; and 4) defendant's multiple remaining challenges fail, as there was no reversible error.
