US v. Al Sabahi, 12-4363

Defendant's conviction of knowingly possessing firearms while illegally and unlawfully present in the United States is affirmed, where: 1) defendant was illegally or unlawfully present in the United States at the time he possessed the firearms in question because he remained in the United States after his visa expired, and his request for adjustment of status has not been approved; 2) the district court did not commit any Confrontation Clause violation; and 3) substantial evidence supports the jury’s verdict in this case.
