United States Fourth Circuit
US v. Medina-Campo, 12-4402
The district court did not abuse its discretion in calculating defendant's 50 month sentence for illegal entry after deportation under the federal Sentencing Guidelines, where his prior Oregon felony of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, even if defendant engaged only in solicitation, is a drug trafficking offense for the purpose of applying the sixteen-level enhancement.
