US v. Gonzalez-Flores, 11-4926
Defendant's conviction and sentence for drug posession, for being an illegal alien, and knowingly and intentionally possessing a firearm that had been shipped in interstate or foreign commerce are affirmed, where Rule 43 of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure does not require a defendant be present at a hearing where the district court determines whether the government violated its discovery obligations.
