United States Fourth Circuit
Deyton v. Keller, 11-7389
Denial of habeas corpus relief is affirmed where, at sentencing, the state trial judge's references to religion did not violate petitioners' due process rights, where the trial judge's comments reflected the distinctive harms to the community of the particular crime that the defendants chose to commit, namely armed robbery of the Sunday worship services at a North Carolina church.
