US v. Thomas, 11-4065
In an appeal of convictions and sentence for two counts of assaulting a correctional officer, judgment is affirmed in all respects where: 1) two indictment challenges did not meet the standard for appellate correction of error; 2) the district court did not abuse its discretion in excluding hearsay statements; and 3) the district court applied the appropriate sentencing guideline.
