Preston v. Leake, 10-2294
In an appeal from a judgment of the district court denying plaintiff relief on her constitutional challenge to North Carolina's Campaign Contributions Prohibition, N.C. Gen. Stat. section 163-278.13C(a), judgment is affirmed where the statute is constitutional, both facially and as applied to plaintiff, as a valid exercise of the state's legislative prerogative to address potential corruption and the appearance of corruption.
