United States Fourth Circuit

Al-Quraishi v. L-3 Services, Inc., 10-1891

In an appeal from a judgment of the district court denying defendant's motion to dismiss plaintiffs' complaint which alleges that defendant's employees and military personnel conspired among themselves and with others to torture and abuse them while they were detained by the US military in Iraq, judgment is reversed for the reasons given in Al-Shimari v. CACI International and where plaintiffs' state law claims are preempted and displaced by federal law as articulated in Saleh v. Titan Corp.
