United States Fourth Circuit
Wiggins v. Boyette, 09-6484
In a matter involving convictions for conspiracy to commit the murder of petitioner's pregnant girlfriend, use of an instrument to destroy their unborn child, and discharge of a firearm into occupied property, denial of writ of habeas corpus is affirmed over claim that the state trial court's decision to admit evidence of certain statements made by the victim before she died mandates habeas relief.
