United States Fourth Circuit

US v. Jenkins, 08-4588

Defendant's firearm possession sentence is affirmed, where the District Court properly enhanced Defendant's sentence under U.S.S.G. section 2K2.1(b)(6), because Defendant's possession of the gun was "in connection with" his possession of cocaine base, as he used the gun to protect himself in the course of selling the drugs.
