Van Alstyne v. Electronic Scriptorium, Ltd., 07-1892

In an action under the Stored Communications Act (SCA) for unlawfully accessing Plaintiff's personal e-mail account, judgment for Plaintiff is reversed, where the SCA requires a plaintiff to prove actual damages in order to obtain statutory damages.
