United States Fourth Circuit

Darden v. Peters, 06-1177

In action seeking to set aside a decision of the U.S. Copyright Office denying plaintiff's applications for copyright registration for his website, appraisers.com, and a series of stylized maps of the U.S. and states for the website, summary judgment to defendant is affirmed where there was no abuse of discretion in the refusal to issue a copyright registration for plaintiff's works.
