U.S. v. Alamoudi, 05-4359
Grant of government's motion for forfeiture of substitute assets is affirmed where: 1) the government did not waive its right to seize substitute assets and the statutory scheme mandated forfeiture; 2) the Sixth Amendment does not apply to forfeiture orders; and 3) the government established the prerequisites necessary to forfeit substitute assets.
