Patten v. Signator Ins. Agency, 05-1148

Denial of plaintiff's motion to vacate an arbitration award in favor of defendants challenging the dismissal, as time-barred, of his employment-related claims against an employer is vacated where the arbitrator's ruling constituted a manifest disregard of the law and was not drawn from the essence of the governing arbitration agreement.
