United States Fourth Circuit

US v. BRANDON, 03-4363, 03-4439

It was not incumbent on the district court to review the transcripts of the government's audio recordings to ensure their accuracy, when the parties themselves did not point to any inaccuracies. Failure to apply career offender guideline was error where a prior judgment of conviction encapsulated multiple findings of guilt as to a handful of separate offenses.
