WILSON v. OZMINT, 03-3

It was not "objectively unreasonable" for the state court to conclude that plaintiff failed to establish a national consensus against the execution of individuals like himself. The fact that 19 states would not have allowed him to receive the death penalty is insufficient to establish such a consensus. (Amended opinion)
