HEDIN v. THOMPSON, 03-1474

Federal antidiscrimination claims brought by a commissioned officer in the Public Health Service were properly dismissed. Congress has mandated that such officers be treated for purposes of antidiscrimination laws as officers in active military service with the Armed Forces, and military officers are exempt from antidiscrimination laws.
