Inappropriate and demeaning statements of a sexual nature, vulgar jokes, and retaliation for spurning unwanted sexual advances are not enough to sustain a sexual harassment claim if plaintiff cannot show that the hostile or abusive work environment is based on the plaintiff's gender.
