United States Fourth Circuit

FISHER v. KING, 99-6837

Members of the general public do not have a First Amendment right to physical access to the original recording of a 911 call. The Virginia Freedom Of Information Act Prisoner Exclusion Provision isn't subject to a facial overbreadth challenge because it does not threaten prosecution for violating the statute and doesn't restrict speech.
