United States Third Circuit
Tima v. Attorney General of the US, 16-4199
Denied an alien's petition for review of a decision ordering him removed from the United States. The Board of Immigration Appeals had ruled that the citizen of Cameroon, who entered the U.S. on a student visa in 1989, was ineligible for waiver of removal because his felony conviction of making false statements about a sham marriage constituted a crime involving moral turpitude. On appeal, the Third Circuit agreed that the man was not eligible for a fraud waiver, and thus denied his petition for review.
