United States Third Circuit
US v. Johnson, 11-1615
Affirmed a conviction and sentence related to the defendant's participation in a string of bank robberies. The case was on remand from the Supreme Court, which had granted the defendant's petition for writ of certiorari, vacated the Third Circuit's 2013 judgment, and remanded for reconsideration in light of Alleyne v. US, 570 U.S. 99 (2013). After reviewing the defendant's arguments under Alleyne as well as other arguments he raised, the Third Circuit affirmed the conviction and sentence.
