Joel Doe v. Boyertown Area School District, 17-3113

High School students brought suit against defendant School District seeking an injunction to prevent the School District from allowing transgender students to use bathrooms and locker rooms consistent with their gender identities as opposed to their birth gender. The 3rd Circuit, US Court of Appeals affirmed the decision of the District Court denying the request for preliminary injunction because it was not likely to succeed on the merits as to privacy rights or violations of Title IX.
