Commonwealth of Pennsylvania v. President of the US, 17-3679

Reversing the denial of a motion to intervene by the Little Sisters of the Poor Saints Peter and Paul Home, a religious nonprofit health care provider, seeking to be admitted into litigation challenging regulations promulgated under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, who the court held had a significantly protectable interest in the case and their interests were not adequately represented by the federal government in a lawsuit requiring health care providers to cover certain forms of preventative care to women without cost sharing.
