Zimmerman v. Corbett, 16-3384

In a 42 U.S.C. section 1983 action, alleging malicious prosecution by the defendants, former Pennsylvania state officials, who brought criminal charges against plaintiff, a legislative staff member, as part of the 'Computergate' investigation, the district court's partial denial of defendant's motion for judgment on the pleadings is reversed where there was probable cause to initiate the underlying criminal proceedings, and thus plaintiff cannot establish a prima facie case of malicious prosecution.
