United States Third Circuit

De Ritis v. McGarrigle, 16-1433

Reversing the denial of summary judgment and qualified immunity for the Public Defender in the case of an Assistant Public Defender who claimed their First Amendment rights were violated when they were fired after they were perceived as having received a demotion and explained it by circulating a rumor that they were being punished for bringing too many cases to trial.
