United States Third Circuit
US v. Willis, 15-2264
In a case in which the former Executive Director of the Legislature of the U.S. Virgin Islands was convicted on two counts of federal programs bribery and two counts of federal extortion, the convictions are affirmed over his unavailing arguments that the District Court erred by: 1) denying his pretrial motion to dismiss two counts of the indictment; 2) denying his renewed motion for judgment of acquittal; and 3) improperly admitting evidence of his prior acceptance of bribes.
