In an action involving prejudgment and postjudgment interest and attorney's fees, in an underlying dispute arising out of the failed sale and purchase of a small island in the U.S. Virgin Islands, the District Court's order is: 1) reversed as to its award of prejudgment interest at a rate other than the statutorily provided 9 percent; and 2) affirmed in all other respects.
