United States Third Circuit
National Association for the Advancement of Multijurisdiction Practice v. Castille, 15-1481
READ
In a constitutional challenge to Pennsylvania Bar Admission Rule 204, which allows experienved attorneys to be admitted to the Pennsylvania bar without taking the Pennsylvania bar exam provided they are barred in a "reciprocal state," a state that similarly admits Pennsylvania attorneys by motion without requiring them to take that state's bar exam, the district court's decision upholding Rule 204 is affirmed where Rule 204 does not violate the Equal Protection clause of the Fourteenth Amendment, the First Amendment’s rights of Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Association, or Right to Petition, Article IV Privileges and Immunities Clause, or the Dormant Commerce Clause.151481
