United States Third Circuit

Daniels v. School Dist. of Philadelphia, 14-1503

In this employment discrimination action, plaintiff alleged in her complaint that defendant school district violated the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, both substantively and by retaliating against her because she opposed what she believed was defendant's discriminatory conduct in violation of the Acts. On appeal, plaintiff raises only her retaliation claim. Order for summary judgment in favor of defendant is affirmed, where defendant did not provide sufficient evidence in opposition to defendant's motion for summary judgment to support a conclusion that defendant acted with a retaliatory animus with respect to her.
