Metropolitan Edison Co. v. Pennsylvania Public Utility Co., 13-4288
Following unsuccessful pursuit for relief in a state proceeding, plaintiffs now seek declaratory judgment and injunctive relief against defendants in federal court, which would effectively set aside the earlier state decision. Dismissal of plaintiffs' amended complaint is affirmed, where plaintiffs litigated the merits of the underlying issues legitimately and to finality, and to refuse to give the state decision any preclusive effect would be a violation of the Full Faith and Credit Statute.
