US v. Brown, 13-2214

Conviction for unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon is vacated and remanded for a new trial, where: 1) the district court erred in admitting evidence, under Federal Rule of Evidence 404(b), of defendant's past firearm purchases and by overruling defendant's objection to the prosecutor's improper closing arguments; and 2) the Rule 404(b) error was prejudicial to defendant.
