United Industrial v. Government of the Virgin Islands, 13-1247

A petition for writ of certiorari brought by plaintiff-union on behalf of an Assistant Attorney General is dismissed as moot, where: 1) this court retains certiorari jurisdiction over proceedings that were filed in the Virgin Islands courts before the date of enactment of a law that would replace such jurisdiction over final decisions of the Virgin Islands Supreme Court with direct review by the Supreme Court of the United States, so the court has jurisdiction over this matter; but 2) the petition is dismissed as moot on account of the Assistant Attorney General's death.
