United States Third Circuit
Treasurer State NJ v. US Dept Treas., 10-1963
In an action brought by seven plaintiff States seeking to recover proceeds of matured but unredeemed US savings bonds from the US Treasury, the District Court's 12(b)(6) dismissal is affirmed, where although the US pursuant to 5 U.S.C. section 702 waived its sovereign immunity from suit in this case, there is no merit in any of the States' claims.
