United States Third Circuit

US v. Friedman, 10-2235

In an appeal from a judgment of the district court convicting defendant of bribery, 18 U.S.C. section 666(a)(2), and sentencing him to a prison term of 34 months, conviction is affirmed where defendant's challenge on the grounds of, among other reasons, evidentiary and instructional errors, and Giglio violations fails, but reversed with respect to the sentencing because the court committed several procedural errors in passing sentence.
